Laboratory Medicine Interest Group

The Lab Medicine Interest Group (LMIG) aims to garner interest in and provide early exposure to a wide range of medical specialties that can be categorized under Lab Medicine. Lab medicine includes pathology, microbiology, biochemistry, transfusion medicine and more. The LMIG hopes to not only garner career interest in lab-related fields, but also emphasize the role and relevance of lab specialties in patient care for all medical students, including those who may be interested in pursuing a career other than in lab medicine.
